August 2026 stand in Emden eine partielle Sonnenfinsternis bevor. Gemeinsam mit der Hochschule Emden\/Leer luden wir deshalb zu einem \u00f6ffentlichen Beobachtungsabend auf den Friesenh\u00fcgel ein. W\u00e4hrend der Mond in Ostfriesland rund 85 Prozent der Sonnenscheibe bedeckte, waren einige Mitglieder unseres Astronomie Club Ostfriesland bereits nach Spanien gereist, um dort die totale Sonnenfinsternis zu erleben (<a href=\"https:\/\/astronomie-club-ostfriesland.de\/?p=2927\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/astronomie-club-ostfriesland.de\/?p=2927\">Mehr erfahren<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dank einer Ausnahmegenehmigung konnten wir Pavillons, Tische, B\u00e4nke und unsere Teleskope mit einem Bulli auf den Friesenh\u00fcgel transportieren. Viele Besucher berichteten, dass diese in den Gesch\u00e4ften bereits seit Wochen ausverkauft waren und sie den Tipp bekommen hatten, bei uns noch welche zu bekommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wir gaben die Brillen gegen eine Spende ab. Manche Besucher nahmen gleich mehrere f\u00fcr Familie oder Freunde mit. Bereits etwa eineinhalb Stunden vor Beginn der Sonnenfinsternis waren s\u00e4mtliche Brillen vergriffen. abgedunkelten Zelt wurde mit einem Teleskop das Bild der Sonne auf eine kleine Leinwand projiziert. Dadurch konnten mehrere Personen gleichzeitig eine 50 cm gro\u00dfe Sonnenscheibe mit einigen kleinen Sonnenflecken betrachten und verfolgen wie sich der Mond langsam vor die Sonne schob.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Von vielen Besuchern wurde gro\u00dfe Begeisterung ge\u00e4u\u00dfert. schlie\u00dflich begann, war die Begeisterung auf dem gesamten Friesenh\u00fcgel sp\u00fcrbar. Die Besucher richteten ihre Blicke zur Sonne \u2013 nat\u00fcrlich ausschlie\u00dflich mit Sonnenfinsternisbrillen oder durch unsere entsprechend ausger\u00fcsteten Teleskope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Da viele unserer Instrumente keine motorische Nachf\u00fchrung besitzen, mussten sie regelm\u00e4\u00dfig von Hand neu auf die Sonne ausgerichtet werden. Unsere Mitglieder vom Astronomie Club Ostfriesland und die Beteiligten der Hochschule waren deshalb st\u00e4ndig an den Teleskopen im Einsatz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Nach und nach schob sich der Mond immer weiter vor die Sonnenscheibe. Vor den Okularen bildeten sich lange Schlangen, doch die Besucher warteten geduldig auf ihren Blick auf die teilweise verfinsterte Sonne. Viele versuchten au\u00dferdem, mit dem Smartphone ein Erinnerungsfoto durch das Teleskop aufzunehmen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Besonders sch\u00f6n war die Begeisterung der Kinder. F\u00fcr viele war es der erste Blick durch ein Teleskop \u00fcberhaupt \u2013 und entsprechend gro\u00df waren Staunen und Freude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gegen 20:08 Uhr erreichte die Sonnenfinsternis ihren H\u00f6hepunkt. Rund 85 Prozent der Sonnenscheibe waren nun vom Mond bedeckt. Unsere Mitglieder erkl\u00e4rten, wie eine Sonnenfinsternis entsteht, welche Technik bei der Beobachtung zum Einsatz kommt und wie Astrofotografie funktioniert.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Einige G\u00e4ste interessierten sich dabei auch f\u00fcr unseren Verein. Vielleicht d\u00fcrfen wir den einen oder anderen bei einem zuk\u00fcnftigen Vereinsabend wieder begr\u00fc\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ein besonderer Abend in Emden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Auch nach der gr\u00f6\u00dften Verdeckung blieben viele Besucher auf dem Friesenh\u00fcgel und verfolgten, wie die Sonne langsam wieder vollst\u00e4ndig hinter dem Mond hervorkam. Erst mit dem Ende der Sonnenfinsternis leerte sich der Platz allm\u00e4hlich.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr uns war es ein rundum gelungener Beobachtungsabend. Menschen jeden Alters teilten gemeinsam ihre Begeisterung f\u00fcr dieses besondere Himmelsschauspiel \u2013 und genau solche Momente zeigen, wie faszinierend Astronomie sein kann, wenn man sie gemeinsam erlebt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Am 12.
